Things You Should Know

Advanced Reservations Highly Recommended
Tours fill up quickly and so can rentals, so we do recommend making advanced reservations. If it rains, we refund your tour 100% or rescheduleĀ (your choice). If the Book Now feature is closed for a tour up to one hour before the scheduled tour time, give us a call.

Cancellations
Our cancellation policy allows youĀ to cancel a tourĀ for a full refund up until 48Ā hours priorĀ to your scheduled tour time. If it rains, we refund your tour 100% or rescheduleĀ (your choice).

Kayaks and Paddles
Kayaks are sit-on-top single/tandems (two people per kayak) that can be paddled solo as well, and we provide two life vests.

Weight Limit
Combined weight limit of 450 pounds per kayak. If you are over that, we can separate you into two kayaks.

Length of Tours
Tours last about two to two and a half hours, and we ask that you please meet at least 30 minutes before your scheduled tour to go to the bathroom and fill out your waivers at a relaxed pace. Safety overview and kayaking instructions are provided.

Children
If a child is old enough (6 years or older) to sit in the kayak safely on their own, regardless of paddling, then they must pay and take their own seat. An adult must go with a child.

What to Wear
Please wear comfortable clothing, such as yoga pants, swimsuit, light layered clothing, flip flops, water shoes, or shoes you don’t mind getting wet. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a hat are great for sun protection.

What to Bring
Bring water and a small towel to throw over your lap (sometimes you get wet from paddling) or dry off with if you want to go for a swim.

Driving Directions
We meet for all tours and rentals behind the Crab Shack on the water.
